Christian Hammacher Apps

LIRC-Client 1.6.5
This app allows you to send infrared commands via an LIRC serverand turns your phone or tablet into a full-featured remote control. In order to do so, an existing LIRC configuration can be queriedfrom a LIRC server. This way commands can be mapped to visualbuttons. See http://www.lirc.org for further information.ATTENTION: This app requires a fully configured LIRC serverincluding a working configuration file. In addition, your LIRCserver HAS to be started with the parameter "--listen" in order toaccept incoming network requests. It is also recommended to usecommand names of the LIRC namespace whenever possible. This app issplit into two modes: Devices and Activities. The active mode canbe selected from the drop-down box in the action bar. When usingthe mode "Devices", individual remotes can be set up by mappingcommands to visual buttons. If the mode "Activities" is used,device-independent commands can be mapped to visual buttons.Besides, it is possible to define start and stop actions to poweron or power off multiple devices at once. This way you can turnyour phone into a multi-purpose remote control.
